The Gogotte for a prestigious interior design, Brussels
The Gogotte for a prestigious interior design, Brussels
Within this formation, the gogottes appear very sporadically, several metres below the ground surface, sometimes in isolation but more often in the form of horizontal slabs made up of gogottes interconnected with each other.
The gogottes are most often white in colour (a very light grey in fact) but are sometimes coloured red or brown by iron oxides. On some breaks, it is not uncommon to observe alternating light-coloured sandstones and oxidized sandstones showing a variability over time in the nutrient waters.
as if a sculptor were adding small touches to create his “masterpiece”.
